No, because they don’t want to take $50 a month, or however much you’re willing to pay, in exchange for paying out $1,000 a month in prescriptions.
What you CAN do, is print out the list of over 400 generic meds that Target and Walmart offer, at $4 for a one month’s supply, take that list to your doctor, and ask them to find something on the list that will do the job.

If you have low income check into your state’s Medicaid program. If your income is low enough to qualify you can get your prescriptions and medical care through the state.
If you are unable to do that and are unable to get the $4 Walmart prescriptions there is a free prescription discount card={b7e6c94d-8b80-4605-8155-29578bee9673}. Since it doesn’t cost anything it doesn’t hurt to try. Even people with insurance can sometimes find they save more with this card than with their insurance coverage.
Other than this the only stand alone prescription coverage you can get is through the Medicare Part D program but you have to qualify for Medicare (be age 65 or disabled).

If you can’t afford insurance, you may qualify for Medicaid (US resident) or Medicare (65 or older). Another good option is a prescription discount card (Caremark has one), especially if your med is a brand drug and you can’t tolerate a generic. Also, if you are taking a particular med, you may contact the manufacturer and they may have a program for you where you get that med for free or at a discount. Also, ask your doctor for free samples.
